This wonderful customer of ours started out with a couple hidden structural pieces to support a floating vanity. After that, the orders came in one after another, for everything from a floating granite sink support, custom pocket handles for cabinet doors, a stainless backsplash, to the ultimate, a complete light fixture (nicknamed ‘Napoleon’ and featured in the next post) to span their 8 1/2′ kitchen island. This project exhibited our diversity, talent and attention to detail.
Floating granite sink support. The order gave us only 4″ of height to hold a 100 lb sink with no structure underneath. Our kind of challenge!
Floating “Eyeball” sink. Finished product.
Custom dishwasher handle to match the one that came with the fridge. Powder coated steel.
Custom pocket handles for a cabinet door in stainless steel. They were designed by the customer and ourselves. Parts were CNC waterjet cut, and welded and polished by us.
These handles were designed to have no screws front, back, or inside.
We also made a set out of steel, powder coated white.
Custom hide-a-way door handles. Powder coated steel.
Custom cabinet handles that just barely show at the edge of the door. Another design of the customer’s that we brought to life.
We didnt want to interupt all the clean straight lines of the house with typical strike plates that stick out into the room. So, we designed these 3/16″ thick stainless units to be mortised in and sit flush on the edge.
