rebuilt fence at Fall River Historical Society

This 130 year old cast iron fence was driven into again, smashing it to bits. This time pieces were missing and replacements needed to be created from scratch. We forged new steel flat and round bar stock into a similar cross-section design and shaped the curlicues to a pattern made from an existing section of fence. The new pieces were bronze brazed to the surviving ones and blended together and painted. Then the whole section was bolted together on site and brazed and blended together creating a seamless effect. That is, until someone runs that stop sign again.
