This wonderful customer of ours started out with a couple hidden structural pieces to support a floating vanity. After that, the orders came in one after another, for everything from a floating granite sink support, custom pocket handles for cabinet doors, a stainless backsplash, to the ultimate, a complete light fixture (nicknamed ‘Napoleon’ and featured in the next post) to span their 8 1/2′ kitchen island. This project exhibited our diversity, talent and attention to detail.

This 130 year old cast iron fence was driven into again, smashing it to bits. This time pieces were missing and replacements needed to be created from scratch. We forged new steel flat and round bar stock into a similar cross-section design and shaped the curlicues to a pattern made from an existing section of fence. The new pieces were bronze brazed to the surviving ones and blended together and painted. Then the whole section was bolted together on site and brazed and blended together creating a seamless effect. That is, until someone runs that stop sign again.
